    Substrate and environmental conditions

    In order to achieve a good penetration and bond, the

    supporting substrate must be clean and dry, free from

    dust, loose particles, oils, organic residues and laitance. All

    abrasive particles and dust must be removed by compressed

    air or must be vacuum cleaned.


    Mixing & application guidelines

    Apply StrataPrime SA with a brush or roller, ensuring

    an even coat with no pooling. Leave the primer to dry for

    approximately 15 minutes prior to the application of any

    subsequent products. Two coats may be required on

    very porous substrates and the product may need to be

    reapplied if the upper surface becomes contaminated or

    if left exposed for more than 4 hours before applying the

    subsequent membrane.

    NB: Where applicable, we recommend that a small bond-

    test area is conducted on uncommon, concrete or cement-

    based substrates to ensure suitability of the product for

    the intended purpose.

    Environmental considerations

    Empty containers must be handled taking the same

    precautions as if they were full. Containers must be

    considered as hazardous waste, to be transferred to an

    authorized waste manager. If any residual product remains

    in the containers, do not mix it with other substances

    without checking for possible dangerous reactions.
