Ruvitex Fleece back adhesive C20 

Ruvitex adhesive is a one component polyurethane adhesive which has been specifically formulated for bonding Ruviplan V PLUS fleece backed single ply roofing membranes to various substrates on up to 10 degree roof pitch i.e. Tissue faced polyurethane roof insulation boards, plywood/OSB roof decking, aerated concrete and existing asphalt (preparation may be required on existing asphalt). The cured adhesive film has very good resistance to heat and hydrolysis.

Approx 2-3 sq.m per kg by roller or squeegee application

C20 adhesive should be applied in an even coat to the substrate by roller, brush or squeegee.

It is recommended that bonding should only take place if the temperature exceeds + 5 °C The roofing membrane should be laid into the wet adhesive within 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the ambient conditions, and pressed into the adhesive within the next 10 to 20 minutes. A weighted roller or firm but soft bristled brush can be used on the top surface of the membrane to push the membrane into the adhesive. Initial setting at 20 degrees centigrade and 40 to 70% relative humidity is about 30 minutes; final setting takes around 5 hours. Misting with a water vapour spray can accelerate setting, especially on non-porous substrates.
